Family Trip: Bali!

There are probably thousands posts about Bali, but I’m just gonna write one to keep the memories.

Bali is always a good idea to spend holiday, right? Throwback to last January, me and my big big family (approx. 20 persons) went to Bali to attend my cousin’s wedding. It was school holiday season so almost everyone in family could go. At first, we didn’t manage to be in the same flight but coincidentally we were and ended up to be like a real ‘group tour’.

It didn't make it easier though or in the other words it become more complicated to manage a group with more than 20 persons since you had to be all together. Morever, we took the BTJ – KL – DPS route which we had to stop in KL for three hours. At KLIA back then, the immigration line was very long due to the high intensity of people flying in the peak season. Here, we got some problems but okay we just skipped it. LOL

Yoww.. We finally arrived in Bali!
We stayed at Swissbell Rainforest Hotel, it was my first time staying there and for my first impression it such a good hotel with very nice ambience. You got that welcoming drink upon arrival and the staffs were very friendly and helpful.

We went to some common places you-have-to-visit-in-Bali which I have ever been actually. However, it felt different when you were going with your big family. ;p

Garuda Wisnu Kencana (GWK)
GWK Cultural Park boasts one of the largest artistic masterpiece of arts ever created in Indonesia which reflects the strong values of Indonesia’s local cultures. This place costs us Rp 120.000 for adult, a bit pricey I think cause inside we just going to take pictures.

Pantai Pandawa
It is one of the famous beach in Bali other than Pantai Kuta. Pantai Pandawa has a stunning panorama with serene and quiet atmosphere. When entering the beach area we will be surrounded by limestone cliffs. Nice background to take a photo indeed.

Pantai Kuta
The next day we strolled around the Pantai Kuta. Who doesn’t know this beach?

Pura Ulun Danu Bratan
Do you remember a pura featured in Rp 50.000 banknote? Yes, this is it. Pura Ulun Danu Bratan located in Bedugul, on the shores of Lake Bratan. To be honest, that was maybe the first and the last time I went there since it is soooo far but the scenery view is worth the trip.

Tanah Lot
It is also the common place for tourists to visit. Better to come here in the afternoon so we can enjoyed the beautiful sunset.

That’s all about my family trip in bali. Sadly, we didn’t have much time to go to famous cafes or beach club such as La Plancha.

Anyways,
Happy wedding day Bg Iqbal & Kak Tara! Wishing you a lifetime happiness. <3
